When you reach out through Programstable Pest Control, you are connected with an independent provider in the network. That provider is a local pest control or wildlife business. They own the work, the schedule and the final quote.

There are no staff profiles on this site, and that is on purpose. The people who matter are the ones who actually come to your house, and they are the providers.

What Happens on the First Conversation

It is usually relaxed. The provider will ask what you have noticed and where. Maybe it is a trail of ants near the sink. Maybe it is noise in the walls at night, or sawdust under a windowsill.

Expect a few simple questions:

• What have you seen, and when did it start?
• Which part of the house is affected?
• How old is the house, and has it had repairs?
• Are there children or pets at home?

Then the provider explains the next step. That may be a visit, an inspection or a written estimate.

What to Ask a Provider

Good questions lead to good decisions. Here are some worth asking:

• Are you licensed and insured for this work in Illinois?
• Have you worked on homes as old as mine?
• What exactly will the treatment involve, and is it safe around pets?
• Will I get the quote in writing?
• What happens if the problem comes back?
• Do you handle bed bug treatment, termites or wildlife, or only some of these?

For older homes, also ask how they check hidden areas like crawl spaces, basements, sump pit areas and attic corners.

You Are in Control

Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can ask for an estimate, compare it with another one and take your time. Costs vary by job, so a written quote is your strongest tool for comparing apples to apples.
